I love the grouping method for the 5 groups that the Rippin Chix camp employs. VERY unique & apropos.

A really rippin ski scale.

Yep! I think it allows people to better judge which group would be most appropriate for them. I would love to do this camp. Anyone else interested?

Okay, so I am at the point of making final decision on what camps I am going to do this year and I really like the way that the Rippin Chix sounds. While I have heard Alison Gannet is an excellent instructor and works well with different learning styles, I don't know anything about the other instructors:

Susan Medville
Carrie Jo Cheroff
Wendy Fisher
Jill Sickles-Matlock
Brittany Walker
Dana Mulitz
Stacee VanAernem
Sara Fuld
Angie Hornbrook
Shelly Higgins.

Does anyone have any insight on any of these instructors?

I'm waiting for the host hotel to get back to me with rates for this camp. I'm really hoping it's a reasonable deal so that I can go. I'll post any information I get. Hopefully someone else will come! If not, there will be a whole group of women to introduce to PeaceLoveSki!

Ya' know? Conquering Palavacini again was a HUGE thing for me last year! Baby steps....

Perhaps in a year or 2.

This year....I plan on being a RIPPIN CHICK for the entire ski season on the mountains and runs of my choosing...and my pace!

It does look like fun, though. I just want to go at my own pace....so remember EVERYTHING you learn....and share with me! K?

NVG - I would love to do this camp. It won't be this year for me. So you & I can just cheer the rest on, wait to hear how amazing it is, and maybe we can join in next year or the year after. The price for the 2 days is awesome & I can't wait to hear how it turns out for our Peace loving skiers ! I'm getting the idea this camp could easily be a yearly "must attend" if it suits that steep, deep or extreme part in each of us.

Here's my deal. At work, we can not put in for vacations for 2009 until November 1st...and then it is by seniority.

Luckily, I have been at the hospital 17.5years...but my friend Vicki who is going on a cruise at the same time...has been there 18 years.

Otherwise, I'm going to try to re-arrange my schedule. And since the website say NO REFUNDS NOT MATTER WHAT EVEN FOR INJURY, I can't put in my money **right**now.

Hopefully I'll know in November.....for sure. Right now I'm 80%...

Wendy Fisher is the redhead in the Warren Miller Movies. She is an AMAZING skier! (She seems like a really sweet person, too! Mother of 2 young ones.)
