With the upcoming season fast approaching, and our desire to get the word out about PeaceLoveSki.com, I was brainstorming on the plane yesterday. I came up with an idea that I think could be fun!

Actually, MSL is partially responsible for this idea! Thanks MSL!

MSL's son took a PeaceLoveSki.com sticker to South America!

So, here's the deal!

Starting in September we will be offering a monthly "Where in the World is PeaceLoveSki.com" contest. All you have to do is take a PeaceLoveSki.com sticker, place it in a random (and legal ) place, take a picture of it and post the picture of it on this thread. We will provide you with the stickers, just PM me your name and address.

Each month Native Vail Gal & I will select one winner based on creativity, who will then be presented with a FABULOUS prize. Sound easy? So, get to it! I can't wait to see the results of your creativity!

So let's add an additional aspect to this contest...

Last night on our local news, there was a story on the "Magnet Mafia" here in Denver, they were amazing artists who are placing their artwork on "Magnetic Canvases" and placing them all over the city!

There is no catch, and if you can find the artwork, you can keep it! They said they end up on people's refrigerators...

SO.....some of you received a car magnet (no, SN...it's not a mousepad!)....if you can take a picture of your car in a FAMOUS landmark (or ski area) from where you hail, with the PLS magnet on it, with all the creativity in the world put behind it, the same prizes will be awarded! (Remember....Lift Towers are MAGNETIC!) Putting magnets on Public locations is TOTALLY legal (as long as you are not trespassing!)

Further, we have HUNDREDS of smaller and medium sized magnets that I would be happy to send to you so that you can place them on locations all over your ski area or other creative location. Take a picture and add it to the contest, and we'll watch the creative juices flowing! Good Luck!

Putting the Sugarloaf sticker in interesting places has been a decades-long tradition (see website for photos).
So I sent a Sugarloaf sticker with my son -- and then thought, why not take a PLS sticker? (He literally has half a briefcase of "schwag"' anyway from sponsors, to be given away).

I will definitely take the big magnet and take a photo when next in an "interesting" location, although it won't be quite as exotic as what I hope my son will provide!

Well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?!

It was so funny...Matt and I were picking up supplies at the grocery store for our hike yesterday and I realized I had forgotten my car magnet! So, we found some washable paint and started having fun painting my car in the parking garage!* We got SO many honks and waves from people as we drove to Bear Mountain (NY). It was a lot of fun!

*Just to note, that it is also a GREAT arm workout getting the stuff to come off! Lots of elbow grease went into that!

Actually, he went there stocked up with all kinds of stickers. So I kept ASKING. And he wound up NOT being to find it....

And he DID search....
So....after ALL that....
He was very happy to oblige getting "stickered!"

"Where," by the way, turned out to be....Manchester, NH, regional airport.......oooo exotic location....

He's a good sport! BTW, I so agree with him about Newark. YUK! That's the worst airport to be stuck at in this area.
