Yeah. One good question about Vail that no one can answer: Can you move it to New England? Ha, just kidding. One of The Best Places on earth (Vail, that is), for SURE. Lucky you!

Heheh. I'd settle for moving Loveland to new england. But alas. We New Englanders are stuck with our own mountains.

Hey, p, it could be worse!! You COULD be in the MIDWEST! Where I endured the first 26 years of my skiing life! (Was a whole lot closer and easier to get to Denver, though.)(Which we did. A lot.)

We don't have it too bad out here--- We just appreciate real snow all the more!!

MSL,

This is true... at least this past winter - now winter 06-07 utterly sucked. However I got spoiled by my last skiing of the season being in CO in April

P, where were you in April 07???
Sugarloaf got 105" in 10 days!
They had to BULLDOZE the snow off "the beach" to make a bath to the lodge doors!! 6 foot hike UP to the snowpack from there!
IT WAS PHENOM!
Granted, MUCH more consistent winter this one just past, but zounds, late season 07 up this way was THE BOMB!!

You're right! I can't answer that! Thank goodness!

I would be all if my mountain moved!

Hey now, feel bad for us out east that have minimal vertical and small mountains. Maybe one of the trips we take out to CO next year I'll be able to keep up with ya at Vail...course I gotta work on that diet to get in better shape and the ice cream I just ate sure helped.
