So lovely....
Maine's Winter Special Olympics are held at the end of January for 2+ days at Sugarloaf. (don't have exact dates for this year)
There are annually more volunteers than there are participants. The volunteer-ism is off the charts here for it.
Last year, I was at the resort for the closing ceremonies. The event had (for ONCE) absolutely lovely, perfect weather and conditions (it's sometimes below zero! ) -- and I saw nothing but ear to ear smiles and happy faces.
Brought tears to my eyes...

ETA: Just got this year's dates off the events calendar:
