Ummm, yeah, sea level tends to do that in August.
Up here at "elevation" (that being relative), the greens are starting to fade, and the white birches are definitely starting to yellow and drop leaves. Part of the early change is that it is SOOOOO wet up here after this drenching summer. We've had more flash flooding in some regions -- one town not altogether far from here (Minot) had 2 of its major highways completely collapse
It has definitely cooled off, especially at night, getting down into the 40's.
We need 2+ weeks of DRY!!!
