You can probably wait a few days. Absin hasn't started firing up their guns yet...and right now the temps during the day up in the high country will be in the 60s-70s..so it might all melt.

Loveland and Abasin are still predicting a mid October opening date for those of us that want to ride the White Ribbon of Death!

Last year, Sunday River had the upper half of T2 open before Halloween.
3 years ago, a 4' storm in Pinkham Notch opened Wildcat for 4 days -- also before Halloween.
WROD season generally gets underway on/around Veterans' Day weekend up here. Hey, it ain't so bad

I'm thinking that Sugarloaf, at least, will do fan-gun tests starting in a week or so.
