Family member reports Saturday weather was wonderful, snow good, atmosphere festive - and one more day of the same ---- "All Things Must Pass" (alas) --- but that means that said family member will soon be coming home!! At least for a short stay!

VERY jealous....yet happy for him! I wish I could have met up with him this year! Next year FOR SURE!

Looks pretty busy there today, per the webcam, as of 1 pm MDT. (I keep looking for his orange pants....) Hard to believe that there are people on snow today -- with such a big part of the country in the grips of a very serious HEAT WAVE. It is currently 94 degrees in the Maine mountains, and let me tell you, that is VERY rare. Some years, it may hit 90 once or twice - in July or August. June? Only once in the last 7 years that I can recall. It's just too hot to be outside fooling with the boat or risking the UV. We're waiting til dinner time to launch.

AMAZING! We've got near 100-degree temperatures today and tomorrow. Can't even imagine standing in snow!

Isn't it insanely hot???? We had a ferocious storm stomp through the area a few hours ago. It was amazing to watch the thunder, lightening and sheets of rain coming down!
