Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Instructors Wanted

Where: STRIDE Adaptive Programs at Three Mountain Locations
Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort - Hancock MA,
Catamount Mountain - Hillsdale NY
Ski Sundown - New Hartford CT

Who: Intermediate Level Skiers and Snowbaorders who want to share their sport passion by teaching individuals who have special needs

Instructor Orientation: Wednesday, October 8, 2008 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at: East Greenbush Community Library 10 Community Way East Greenbush, NY 12061
Purpose: Come learn about Adaptive Snowsports Programs, what is expected, and what it is like to be a volunteer/mentor. ‘Meet and Greet’ all instructors, logistics, introduction to adaptive teaching, volunteer responsibilities and training schedule will be presented.

*** If you live outside the Capital District of New York and would like to teach at Catamount or Ski Sundown - a similar orientation may be provided at a closer location TBD

Benefits: As a volunteer instructor at any of our three STRIDE programs, you are compensated with a season pass or comparable benefits each year.
